PUBG Mobile Lite Keep Your PUBG Mobile Account

The highest-value click after you pre-register PUBG Mobile Lite is the login screen, not a crate thumbnail. Storefronts list the 2026 client as PUBG MOBILE LIGHT. Official publishing copy says LIGHT shares the same ecosystem as PUBG Mobile: existing accounts, friends list, game data, and access to assets, with the ability to switch between the two apps. Vincent Wang, Head of PUBG Mobile Publishing at Tencent Games, put cross-play in the same breath. This page is only about identity. Getting started is the first-hour checklist. Cross-play is the party flow. Codes is empty until an official Redeem string exists. Do not hand a password to a “skin transfer bot.”

Use the account you already play

Sign in with the PUBG Mobile ID that already holds your friends and the outfits you actually wear. Do not create a throwaway “Lite-only” profile. LIGHT is designed to stay in step with standard PUBG Mobile updates, not to fork your inventory into a second progress track.

On Android that usually means the same Google Play Games, Facebook, Twitter, VK, or guest-upgraded ID you already bound. On iOS it is the same Game Center / publisher login. If something is missing after login, you are probably on the wrong publisher method, not on a different shooter. Check the bound ID in the full PUBG Mobile app first, then repeat that method in LIGHT when the client is playable.

Guest accounts are the usual way people lose cosmetics. If your main progress still sits on a guest ID, bind it to a durable login in the standard app before November. LIGHT will not magically rescue an unbound guest that you later wipe.

What “supported items” means

Official language is “access assets” and “retain game data,” not “every historical crate item is guaranteed in every LIGHT screenshot.” Treat it as: items the main game still supports on that account are intended to follow the ID into LIGHT. Event leftovers that the main client already retired will not be revived by a lighter install. If a seller promises “unlock all LIGHT skins with a code,” that is a scam. Codes lists none confirmed.

UC stays on the account through official storefronts. Buying UC from a Telegram shop is how IDs get stolen. LIGHT does not invent a second premium currency.

Switching between LIGHT and the full app

You can keep both apps. LIGHT is a second door into the same world, not a replacement that deletes the standard client. Publishing copy says you can switch based on storage and preference. A travel week on a small phone is the LIGHT week. A home Wi-Fi week with every map downloaded can stay on the full app. Friends lists should match because the account matches. Squad roles still apply in either client.

Cross-play means a LIGHT player can squad with a standard-app player. It does not mean a LIGHT install without Miramar can queue Miramar. Install the module or queue Erangel. Modes and maps explain the optional packs.

India, BGMI, and wrong store listings

BGMI Lite is the Indian counterpart. It is not Google Play package com.tencent.igfit and it is not App Store id 6740521489. Do not paste a BGMI transfer code into the global LIGHT client, and do not expect a global LIGHT login to open BGMI. If you play BGMI, follow Krafton India’s official channels for that listing. What not to do

• Do not sideload an APK that claims to “import” your account. Download is official stores only.
• Do not pay for a recovery service that asks for SMS codes.
• Do not assume closed beta progress in selected countries is permanent. CBT is a work-in-progress test build and does not represent the final version. Closed beta.
