Pre-Register for PUBG Mobile Lite

Pre-registration for PUBG Mobile Lite opened 25 August 2026. Storefronts show the 2026 client as PUBG MOBILE LIGHT; this page uses PUBG Mobile Lite in the same sense producer Rick Li did at the PUBG Mobile World Cup. Lightspeed Studios is building it. Level Infinite / Tencent is publishing it. The full client is still upcoming — official posts say mid-November 2026, and the App Store listing currently shows 12 November 2026 — but the pre-register button can already appear in regions where Google Play or the App Store has rolled the listing out.

This page is only about signing up on those two stores. It is not a download mirror, and it is not a closed-beta key farm. If you want first-hour login and Erangel advice, switch to getting started. If you want install size and optional modules, switch to download.

Google Play steps

On Android, open Google Play and search for PUBG MOBILE LIGHT, or go directly to the listing for package com.tencent.igfit. Confirm the developer line matches Tencent / Level Infinite rather than a look-alike publisher. Tap Pre-register. Play will notify you when the region can install the launch build. You do not need to leave the listing open, and you do not need a third-party “APK notifier.”

If the page 404s or only shows the standard PUBG Mobile app, your Play country has not received the LIGHT listing yet. Official posts said pre-registration would roll out across regions. Wait and check again from the same Google account you use for games. VPN tricks that swap a store country can break purchases and are not a supported path for a Tencent account that you want to keep.

Play listing copy can mention the lighter first download (around 1 GB on Android, Erangel included). That is a store fact, not a promise that every optional map is already on disk. After you eventually install, extra maps stay optional. Read maps before you queue a 2 GB extra pull on a small phone.

App Store steps

On iPhone or iPad, open the App Store and search for PUBG MOBILE LIGHT, or locate listing id 6740521489. Apple currently lists a minimum of iOS 13.0. Use Pre-order / pre-register language as the store shows it in your region. The listing has been reported with a 12 November 2026 date; treat that as the store’s current display, not as a live launch. Broader wording from official posts is still mid-November 2026. The release date page tracks that distinction.

iOS first download is under 2 GB, still with Erangel pre-installed and no mandatory extra package before the first match. That is the same storage story as Android, just a higher ceiling. Optional Miramar, Sanhok, Team Deathmatch, and Metro Royale modules are coverage notes for later, not a pre-register checklist.

Game Center vs a Tencent / PUBG Mobile ID is a launch-week login question, not a pre-register question. Vincent Wang confirmed the LIGHT client shares the PUBG Mobile account, friends, and supported cosmetics, and that it can cross-play with the standard app. You pre-register the app; you log in later with the ID you already use. Region rollout, India, and closed beta

Pre-registration is rolling out by region. A friend in another country seeing the button does not mean your store is broken. Refresh the official listing, not a cloned URL. India has BGMI Lite as a counterpart with its own storefront behavior. Do not treat a BGMI Lite Play link as the global com.tencent.igfit listing, and do not tell global players to sideload an India build.

Closed beta is a different gate. Official channels said CBT access would be available in selected countries, using a work-in-progress test build that does not represent the final version. They have not published a public country list. This wiki will not invent one. If you were not invited, you are not late — you are simply outside the test. Watch closed beta, the announcement, and the pre-registration update instead of chasing “CBT APK” search ads.

Avoid unofficial APKs while you wait

The gap between 25 August 2026 and the November window is exactly when fake installers appear. They clone the LIGHT key art, paste a MediaFire URL, and claim the mid-November build is early. Delete those tabs. An unofficial APK can harvest your PUBG Mobile login, overlay a miner, or just install the 2019 60-player Lite by mistake. Lite vs Light exists so you can tell those clients apart.

While you wait, you can still practice the game you already know. How to play is the classic loop. Controls is HUD and gyro language. Landing spots and weapons are planning pages.
