PUBG Mobile Lite Where to Land on Erangel
Hot, warm, and safe drops for a first-install island. Plan the plane, not a leaked LIGHT map.
Erangel is the map in the first PUBG Mobile Lite install. Extra maps are optional modules. Week-one drops will be island drops, even if your squad’s identity is “we only play Sanhok.” This page ranks hot / warm / safe compounds the way main-app Erangel already plays. It is not a leaked LIGHT heatmap, and it is not the 2019 Lite 2 km circle.
Call the plane path in the lobby. If two people want Pochinki and two want Farm, you do not have a landing plan — you have a wipe. Squad roles should decide who gets veto power. Cross-play with main-app friends makes this louder; they will bring old habits. Align names before the jump: School means School, not “the buildings near Rozhok.”
Hot — loot and fights, expect company
Pochinki. The classic town. Dense houses, stair fights, and third parties from Rozhok or the ridge. Land here if your four-stack can clear compounds without looting every cupboard. IGL should pick one block, not four separate roofs.
School / Rozhok. School is vertical chaos: bathrooms, roof, and the field toward apartments. Rozhok is the town next door that feeds that fight. Good for SMG practice (Vector, UMP). Bad for a solo who wanted a Kar98 and a bush.
Georgopol. Containers plus apartments. High loot, long third-party lines, and a painful rotate if the circle pulls south. One pair on crates, one pair on buildings, or you scatter into 1v3s.
Military Base (Sosnovka). Bridge risk is the tax. Great loot if the plane actually crosses. Terrible if you are still on the island when zone hits the water. Only land here if someone is watching the bridge early.
Novorepnoye / Mylta Power. Novo shipping containers and Mylta Power’s industrial kit draw squads who want attachments fast. Power in particular is a “we have to win this compound or we rotate poor” drop.
Prison. Small, violent, and easy to third-party from the coast road. Treat it as a hot mini-compound, not a safe edge.
Hot drops pair with S-tier close guns: Vector, Beryl, M416. See the weapon list. If your squad is teaching a new player, do not start here on day one of the November window.
Warm — enough loot, fewer 20-player towns
Yasnaya Polyana. Big enough to kit a squad, spread enough that you can avoid a 4v4 in the first 90 seconds if you pick a side. Strong default when the plane is central.
Primorsk. Coastal town, vehicles on the edge, circle-dependent. Nice when the path is south; sad when you have to run the whole island.
Mylta. Town loot without Power’s magnet. Good for a two-compound clear, then a rotate toward the bridge or east fields.
Gatka / Zharki / Hospital / Ruins / Shelter. These are the “we still get an AR and a scope” drops. Hospital and Ruins can spike hotter than they look if the plane is north. Shelter is a vehicle-and-loot pause, not a place to sit the whole match.
Warm is where most mixed-skill stacks should live in week one. You still find M416 / AKM / Mini14 language without contesting School bathrooms.
Safe — survival first, kit later
Shooting Range, Kameshki, Stalber, Severny, Farm, Ferry Pier, and the small coastal compounds. Low contest if the plane is far. You will be under-looted if you never rotate through a town. Safe is for:
- Teaching the island to someone who has not played Erangel in years
- A rank-anxiety stack that wants zone first
- A three-finger player still building gyro habits (see sensitivity)
Farm looks “easy” and then eats you when two squads rotate through the same barns. Safe does not mean AFK. Loot two compounds, take a vehicle, move.
Rotate rules that matter more than the letter rank
- Vehicles beat extra smokes on this island. A safe drop without a car is a death sentence when zone pulls opposite.
- Do not greed Military if the plane only clipped the corner. Swimming is not a plan.
- Watch the bridges as a map, not a meme. South island squads die on Sosnovka because nobody called the pinch.
- Third-party with a purpose. Hearing School does not mean you walk in through the front door with a Win94.
- Optional maps can wait. Miramar and Sanhok are extra downloads. Do not skip Erangel practice because you “main desert” on the heavy client.
Plane path cheat sheet
- Path along the center: Yasnaya or a warm town unless you truly want Pochinki.
- Path north: Stalber / Severny if you need safe; Hospital / Ruins if you want warm.
- Path south: Primorsk, Novo, or Farm. Military only with a bridge plan.
- Path west: Georgopol or Zharki. Georgopol if you can fight; Zharki if you cannot.
Call it in voice before the door opens. Cross-play parties with main-app IGLs often assume everyone knows the old callouts. If your LIGHT teammates are new, use compass numbers plus a compound name.
For the actual drop, loot, and circle loop, read how to play. For island layout and optional modules, maps. This page will shift a compound from warm to hot if launch week proves a magnet; it will not invent a LIGHT-only city that is not on Erangel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you drop into Erangel.
Is Erangel the only map at launch?
It is the map in the first install. Miramar and Sanhok are described as optional modules, not as guaranteed first-download maps.
Where should beginners land?
Warm towns like Yasnaya or Mylta, or safe compounds if the plane is far. Skip School and Pochinki until the stack can clear a house together.
Is this a leaked LIGHT heatmap?
No. It uses well-known Erangel compounds and main-app contest patterns.
Should we land Military every game?
Only if the plane supports it and someone owns the bridge. Otherwise you donate the squad to zone and traffic.
Do hot drops need different guns?
Prioritize close-range (Vector, UMP, Beryl, shotguns). Field rotates want Mini14 / Kar98 / M416. See weapons.
Can main-app friends pick the drop for us?
Yes, if you agree in lobby. Cross-play does not fix a split jump. Roles: squad roles.
