PUBG Mobile Lite Erangel Callouts & Rotations
Named compounds, zone logic, and the bridge problem — Erangel geography as it plays in 2026.
PUBG Mobile Lite drops you on the same Erangel island the main app uses. The geography does not change because the client is lighter. This page is the named-compound reference that sits inside the broader maps overview: callouts, zone-reading habits, and the rotation problems that define classic Erangel in 2026. Pair it with the landing spots tier list so compound names land on top of a ranked drop list, not in place of one.
Producer Rick Li used PUBG Mobile Lite at the World Cup on 16 August 2026. Lightspeed Studios is building it. Level Infinite / Tencent is publishing it. The game is upcoming (mid-November 2026 in official posts; App Store listing currently shows 12 November 2026). Erangel is in the first install and is the whole week-one meta.
The plane problem every squad has
The plane crosses Erangel differently every match. A path through the middle makes Pochinki, School, and Rozhok the early fights. A south path fills Novo, Mylta, and Primorsk. A west path dumps players into Georgopol. Before anyone marks a drop, the squad should read the path and agree on an area, not just a building.
A useful habit: the IGL names a region in the lobby — north plateau, south coast, west containers — and the squad picks compounds inside that region. That way when the plane takes the wrong path, you have a fallback zone, not a split squad.
Named compounds and their nicknames
Erangel has standardized callouts that every PUBG Mobile player recognizes. These are not LIGHT inventions; they are the same names used in tournaments and on main-app comms.
Pochinki cluster — Pochinki itself is the central house cluster that always fights. The adjacent School is the tall building with bathrooms, roof, and the connecting apartments. Rozhok is the northern town with a water tower that serves as a landmark from Pochinki. These three compounds are the center of the island and the most common hot drops.
Georgopol zone — Georgopol is split into north crates (the container stacks near the water), south apartments (the low-rise buildings inland), and the hilltop houses that overlook both. Calling “Georgopol crates” means the north containers specifically; “Georgopol apartments” means the south zone. One pair on crates, one pair on apartments is a cleaner split than scattering four people randomly.
Military Base (Sosnovka) — The island base in the northwest is high-tier loot behind a bridge choke. Calling “Military” without specifying “bridge clear” is how one squad holds the exit and kills everyone who made the swim. If you land Military, assign a bridge watcher in the first 30 seconds.
Novorepnoye (Novo) — The southern shipping town with container stacks and a beach. “Novo containers” means the port area; “Novo village” means the inland buildings. It is a warm drop when the south path is active and a vehicle stop when the plane crosses the south on a different path.
Mylta zone — Mylta town itself is the low-rise buildings east of center. Mylta Power is the industrial compound north of Mylta, marked by the distinctive cooling towers. “Power” is always Mylta Power; “Mylta” without a qualifier means the town.
Yasnaya Polyana — The mid-island town that is large enough to kit a full squad without internal contest. It is the default safe-warm drop when the plane path is ambiguous. Call it “Yasnaya” or “Yasn” in quick comms.
Primorsk — The coastal town in the southwest. Vehicle spawns on the beach road make it a rotation hub. It is warm when the plane is south and sad when you have to cross the whole island after the zone pulls north.
Prison — The walled island in the southeast with high-tier loot and a single bridge exit. A hot micro-drop that can be third-partied from the coast road. Call “Prison” when someone wants the island; confirm the coast road is covered before the jump.
Rozhok — North of Pochinki, slightly calmer house fight with a water tower. Common SMG practice ground. Often called “Rozhok” or “water tower” as a landmark.
Shooting Range, Kameshki, Stalber, Severny, Farm, Ferry Pier — The safe compounds. These are named in comms when the squad is coordinating a quiet rotation or teaching someone the island geography. “Farm” is the barn cluster south of the center; “Stalber” is the hilltop village in the north.
Zone logic — how the circle decides your options
Erangel zones favor certain compounds over others as the match progresses. A few rules that do not change:
-
Island compounds lose access early. Military, Novo, and Prison become rotation traps when the circle pulls north of the water. Land island compounds only when the path supports it and the squad has a vehicle plan.
-
The plateau (Yasnaya, Stalber, Severny) holds late circles. North and central plateau compounds have terrain advantage in final zones. A squad that holds Yasnaya or Stalber late has sightlines the coastal towns do not.
-
Georgopol bridges are chokes. Two bridges connect Georgopol to the mainland. Late circles that cut Georgopol off turn those bridges into kill zones. Cross them early or not at all.
-
Vehicles on Erangel are survival tools. A car at Mylta Power when the zone pulls south is how you beat the blue wall. A car parked at Prison when the circle pulls inland is a liability — engines announce position. Park off-angle, not in front of the building you just left.
-
The prison island bridge is the worst choke. One bridge, narrow road, high ground on both sides. Do not attempt it without a smoke or a distraction.
Rotation cheat sheet by circle phase
Phase 1 (plane to first white): Read the plane, land, loot fast, grab a vehicle if you are not confident in the town. Do not spend 90 seconds in the first building.
Phase 2 (first white to second white): You have a loadout. Move toward the next zone. Avoid crossing open fields at the same time as the blue wall. Stop at compound edges, not mid-field.
Phase 3 (third/fourth circle): You are rotating into terrain that other squads already chose. Third-party compounds that are already fighting, then hold the zone edge. Do not rotate into a zone that already has two established squads.
Phase 4/5 (late circles): Smokes and utility matter more than crate greed. Hold high ground inside the zone. A squad with two level-2 vests and enough heals beats a crate-hunting squad that rotated late.
How to practice before LIGHT is playable
The maps overview explains what Erangel is included in the first install. How to play covers the loop. Landing spots gives the ranked drop list. This page gives you the vocabulary: practice the callouts in main-app squads now, and the names transfer to LIGHT without a new sheet.
Squad comms habits — who calls the compound, who calls the zone, who watches the angle — sit on squad roles. Cross-play covers mixed-client parties. Controls and sensitivity are the physical layer that makes callouts actually executable.
Until the November 2026 window opens, use the Erangel you already know to practice zone-reading. The geography does not change because the first download is lighter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you drop into Erangel.
What is the most important Erangel callout to learn first?
Pochinki, School, and Georgopol are the most-used compound names in comms. Learn those three before the match starts.
Does the LIGHT client change Erangel geography?
No. Erangel is the same island on the main app. LIGHT is a lighter first install, not a different map.
When should a squad skip Military Base?
When the plane path does not cross the northwest, or when no one called the bridge exit in the first 30 seconds.
What is the worst rotation mistake on Erangel?
Crossing a bridge or open field while the blue wall is closing. Vehicles help, but parking off-angle matters more than speed.
Can I practice these callouts before LIGHT launches?
Yes. Main-app Erangel squads use the same compound names. Practice now; the vocabulary transfers directly.
Where do late circles favor on Erangel?
The north and central plateau (Yasnaya, Stalber) and high-ground compounds hold advantages over coastal towns in final zones.
